What our certificate records, and what it does not claim

What the certificate records

It is described using the eleven European standard elements for a micro-credential, set out in Council Recommendation 2022/C 243/02. Every certificate carries all eleven:

The learning outcomes are the steps that learner actually completed, in their own language, rather than a generic list. Two of the eleven are answered in the negative, because in each case the honest answer is none.

What it does not claim

• It is not a state recognised qualification. learnery.io is not a licensed Kentro Dia Viou Mathisis and does not use that term, which Greek law reserves for licensed centres.
• It is not referenced to the European Qualifications Framework or to any national qualifications framework, and it carries no ECTS credit.
• Its quality assurance is internal. The curriculum is written to a fixed specification, versioned, and covered by automated checks. No external accreditation body is involved.
• It is a record of training delivered, not a legal determination of compliance. Article 4 of the EU AI Act asks organisations to ensure staff have an adequate level of AI literacy; no certificate is legally required, and no certificate can prove that duty is met.

Who may issue a certificate like this

Any organisation may. The European approach to micro-credentials names private providers among the bodies that may design and issue them in non formal learning settings.

In Greece, the law regulates the Kentro Dia Viou Mathisis as a type of establishment and reserves that name for licensed centres. It does not require a licence in order to train adults or to issue a certificate of completion. learnery.io claims no licence it does not hold.
