Why do insurance agencies need AI training now?
Insurance runs on sensitive data and precise wording. When an agent pastes a client's medical history or bank details into a public chatbot, or a claims note gets summarized incorrectly, the exposure is real. Most staff have already tried tools like ChatGPT, but few know where the safe lines sit. AI training for insurance agencies closes that gap: it turns unmanaged, ad hoc use into a shared, safe standard across your whole office. Learnery does it in around eight hours, in the browser, with nothing to install.
What will our team actually learn in eight hours?
Learnery is a twelve step interactive seminar with an AI tutor, live chat roleplay, and a hands on prompt lab. Your people move from theory to practice, then earn a verifiable completion certificate. The twelve steps are:
- AI foundations: what these tools are, and what they are not.
- Safe use at work: protecting client, policy, and payment data.
- Everyday prompting: getting useful, accurate output fast.
- Industry adaptation: prompts and cautions specific to insurance.
- Role adaptation: examples matched to each person's job.
How does this fit the different roles in our agency?
Insurance is not one job, so the training adapts to each seat. Here is how everyday work maps to safe AI use:
| Role | Where AI helps |
|---|---|
| Agents & Advisors | Drafting quote explanations and plain language policy summaries for clients. |
| Claims Support | Summarizing first notice of loss notes and drafting clear status updates. |
| Underwriting Support | Organizing application details and checking documents for gaps. |
| Customer Service | Writing faster, friendlier replies to coverage and billing questions. |
| Office & Renewals | Chasing paperwork, drafting reminders, and tidying renewal records. |
Does this help with the EU AI Act AI literacy duty?
Yes. Article 4 of the EU AI Act asks organizations to make sure staff who use AI have adequate AI literacy, with supervision starting on 2 August 2026. Learnery supports that duty by giving every employee structured training and a dated, verifiable certificate you can keep on record. To be clear: a certificate is not legally required, no fines are attached specifically to Article 4, and no company has been fined. Learnery helps you show a genuine, good faith effort to train your people.
How much does it cost, and can I buy for just myself?
Learnery is 39 euro per seat, one time, with no subscription and no renewal. Volume discounts apply for teams. There are two ways to buy: a manager can purchase seats and invite staff (from a two person office to a large agency), or an individual can pay 39 euro and train solo. The training is available in six languages and covers 35 industries, so a mixed team can learn in the language they are most comfortable with.
