AI Training for Restaurant & Food Service

AI training for Restaurant & Food Service teaches your whole team, from Waiters & Service to Kitchen & Prep, how to use tools like ChatGPT safely and usefully in about one hour. Restaurants run on thin margins and fast shifts, so a host drafting a booking reply or a manager forecasting a produce order needs AI habits that protect guest data and never invent an allergen. Learnery builds those habits.

For a whole team or just you. About one hour, one time payment, and a certificate you keep.

Tailored to every role

Why does my restaurant need AI training now?

Your team already meets AI whether you plan for it or not. A host pastes a guest complaint into a chatbot for a softer reply, a Kitchen & Prep lead asks it to scale a recipe, a Management & Purchasing manager drafts a supplier email. Done blindly, that can leak reservation data, misstate an allergen, or produce off brand messaging. AI training for Restaurant & Food Service replaces guesswork with clear, safe habits, so every shift gains something and nothing sensitive walks out the door.

What will my staff actually learn in about one hour?

Learnery is a browser based, 5 step interactive seminar that takes roughly one hour. It moves from AI foundations, to safe use at work, to everyday prompting, then adapts to your industry and to each person's role. Along the way staff practice with an AI tutor, run live chat roleplay, and test ideas in a prompt lab, so they learn by doing rather than watching slides. Everyone who finishes earns a verifiable completion certificate.

  • AI foundations: what these tools are and where they fail
  • Safe use at work: guest data, confidentiality, and checking facts
  • Everyday prompting: getting useful output on the first try
  • Industry adaptation: worked examples set in food service
  • Role adaptation: tailored to the job someone actually does

How does the training adapt to each restaurant role?

The role adaptation step tunes examples to the real jobs on your floor and in your kitchen, so the skills transfer straight into the next shift. Instead of generic office scenarios, each person practices on prompts built around the tasks they own.

RoleEveryday AI use after training
Waiters & ServiceTurn menu notes into clear specials descriptions and upsell lines
Kitchen & PrepScale recipes, plan prep lists, and draft allergen aware notes to double check
Management & PurchasingDraft supplier emails, compare quotes, and summarize weekly numbers
Delivery & TakeawayWrite clear order confirmations and answer delivery queries fast
Bar & BaristaBuild cocktail and coffee menu copy and seasonal specials
Host & ReservationsReply to booking requests and reviews in a warm, on brand voice

Does this support the EU AI Act AI literacy duty?

Yes. Article 4 of the EU AI Act asks organisations that use AI to ensure their staff have a sufficient level of AI literacy, and supervision of this duty starts on 2 August 2026. Learnery helps you meet that duty by training every seat and giving each person a dated completion certificate you can keep on file. To be clear, a certificate is not legally required and no fines are attached specifically to Article 4, but showing that your people were trained is a sensible, good faith step.

How do we buy it, for a team or for myself?

There are two ways. A manager can buy seats for the team and invite staff by email, tracking who has finished. Or an individual, say a chef or a bar lead building their own skills, can pay for one seat and train solo. Pricing is 39 euro per seat, one time, with no subscription, and volume discounts apply for larger teams. The course is available in 6 languages, so a mixed brigade can each train in whichever language they know best.
